The Center for the Partially Sighted
Vision Loss changes the way you see. Don’t let it change the way you live!
Vision loss can occur at any time, to anyone. In older adults, it may be due to macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts or stroke. Diabetes, retinitis pigmentosa or accidents can cause significant vision loss in working-age adults. Cortical vision impairment, retinopathy of prematurity, optical nerve atrophy, albinism or juvenile diabetes can be causes of vision loss in children. To better understand what a person with conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, or glaucoma sees, please visit About Low Vision.
With low vision rehabilitation services, people with impaired sight can succeed in school, in the workplace, and in the home. The Center for the Partially Sighted (non-profit), with four offices in Southern and Central California, can help! Our staff provides a nationally-recognized model of low vision care, insuring you receive the best low vision care available.
